Throughout the city, a variety of VOICES collide in a happenstantial meeting on walls, signage & other surfaces. Their color, image & voice INTERACT with variables including: time, weather & context.

This series frames these combinations of SOCIAL MATERIAL and dramatically changes their context & scale. They become FRAGMENTS, abstractions, ready-made collages, found paintings.

Street Still Life is a photographic series developed between 2010-2012.

An ongoing project with a name that never quite fit, I consider this project to have culminated with it's presentation at Open Show, in October of 2012. For the occasion, I produced a small publication of the 20 photographs that I was to present, as well as the short text that I had provided to apply for the event.

Open Show is a fantastic community for photographers, I highly recommend attending and/or presenting at one of their events around the world.
