Project Ground Truth was a global-scale initiative at Google Maps to build fully proprietary map data for 43 countries within 5 years.

To commemorate the project's on-schedule completion, Google Maps commissioned a keep-sake book for project stakeholders.

I developed the concept, content and design of the book into an "atlas" that is both informative and engaging. 5 years in the making, Project Ground Truth is celebrated with the finished map images and facts for 43 countries, satellite and streetview photography, and screenshots from the internal program used to build and compile all of the map data and imagery.

The book was produced in a very limited run of 200 copies, printed and case-bound by Edition One in Berkeley, California. Designed at Upperquad.
